Barbara Hebenton Fielden

Barbara Hebenton Fielden joined the Foundation in 2005. In addition to serving on the board, Barbara has been Cabinet Chair, on Pooled Fund Grant Committee leadership, lead the inaugural Women & Girls Grant Committee, and participates on as many grant committees as she can. She previously served on the boards of Seattle Shakespeare Company, Seattle Academy, PEPS and the Northwest Advisory Board of the Trust for Public Land. Now retired, Barbara practiced law for over twenty years at Juno Therapeutics, as General Counsel of Active Voice, and in private practice. Barbara is a graduate of Stanford University and Harvard Law School.

Barbara joined WaWF because she believes in the power of our collective: the learning opportunities and impactful, thoughtful grant making, and the friendships and community that result.
