Priority 101 Series: Re-entry Support (OPEN TO ALL)

February 7 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

We’re thrilled to announce our 2024 Priority 101 series.  From our overarching themes of Arts and Community Culture; Law, Justice and Incarceration; and Housing and Hunger; the WaWF membership has selected one priority within each theme: Expanding Access to Art in Schools, Re-Entry Support, and Mental Health and Housing.

Continue the learning on Wednesday, February 7th at 12:00PM via Zoom, to hear about the cutting edge work being done in re-entry support. Panelists and leaders will educate us all in the specific types of support that individuals leaving incarceration need to thrive. Hear about the unique challenges individuals leaving incarceration face, and how re-entry support assists them holistically in this transition, in turn improving their experience and reducing recidivism.

Learn from panelists Janel McFeat of the Statewide Reentry Council, Chanel Rhymes of the Northwest Community Bail Fund, Linda Scott of the STAR Project, and Leandru Willie, of Native American Reentry Services.

Click here to register for Priority 101: Re-entry Support!

These events are free and open to the entire WaWF community, meaning they are open to all! We will record the panel discussions and share with those who register for viewing. For questions, please contact programs@wawomensfdn.org.
