Priority 101 Series: Reproductive Justice & Maternal Health (OPEN TO ALL)

January 31, 2023 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm
Virtual Event

We’re thrilled to announce our 2023 Priority 101 series.  From our overarching themes of Education, Healthcare, and Climate & Agricultural, the WaWF membership has selected one priority within each theme: Early Childhood Education, Reproductive Justice & Maternal Health, and Food Security and Sovereignty.

On January 31st, 2023 at 12:00pm on Zoom, community experts will educate us on Reproductive Justice and Maternal Health. We will learn about our community’s ability to maintain personal bodily autonomy, control reproductive choices, and access healthcare during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. Panelists will share about the many ways reproductive matters impact our community and the holistic approaches to maternal health in Washington state.

Terri Chi Lee of Community Birth Center and Generations Midwifery, Jessica Whitehawk of Ttawaxt Birth Justice Center, Dila Perera of Open Arms Perinatal Services, and Stephanie Courtney of Learning Project Network will share their experiences and expertise during this panel discussion.

Register here for 101 Series: Reproductive Justice and Maternal Health

These events are free and open to the entire WaWF community, meaning they are open to all! We will record the panel discussions and share with those who register for viewing. For questions, please contact programs@wawomensfdn.org.
