Tour in Place: The Fog Beyond the Mountains (MEMBERS + FRIENDS)

The story of racial difference in the Northwest often overlooks communities, obscures narratives, and keeps heritage cloaked in fog. For this session, we unfold the story of race in the Pacific Northwest. From Mukilteo, Washington to Coos Bay, Oregon to Minidoka, Idaho, the Sankofa Impact team will guide us on a virtual tour of the often untold racial history in the Northwest.
Participants will engage in mindfulness, community building, self-reflection, courageous conversations, and “ride the bus” as we visit six locations that unfold narratives of race and identity around the Pacific Northwest. Join the WaWF community on Wednesday, November 20th at the Washington Women’s Foundation in the afternoon, from 2 to 5PM!
