Priority 101 Series: Mitigating the Impact of Climate Change (OPEN TO ALL)

January 23, 2025 @ 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm

We’re thrilled to announce our 2025 Priority 101 series.  From our overarching themes of Healthcare, Education and Climate + Agricultural Justice; the WaWF membership has selected one priority within each theme: Youth Mental Health, Adult Education Opportunities, and Mitigating the Impact of Climate Change.

Join us on Thursday January 23rd, 2025 via Zoom at 12:30PM for the first part of our deep dive on Mitigating the Impact of Climate Change. Learn more about the intersection of alleviating and reversing the effects of climate change on those communities most impacted by its effects in Washington State. Panelists will discuss climate solutions, partnerships and work that is being done across the state.

Join panelists Vanessa Kritzer of Washington Association of Land Trusts, Paulina Lopez of Duwamish River Community Coalition, Lylianna Allala of City of Seattle Climate, and Jamie Stroble of The Nature Conservancy.

Click here to register for Priority 101 Series: Mitigating the Impact of Climate Change.

These events are free and open to the entire WaWF community, meaning they are open to all! We will record the panel discussions and share with those who register for viewing. For questions, please contact programs@wawomensfdn.org.
