Partner Event: Conversation with Author Clyde W. Ford (OPEN TO ALL)

May 10, 2023 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Please join Washington Women’s Foundation, in partnership with Progress Alliance and SVP Seattle, on Wednesday, May 10, from 12-1 PM for an exclusive online event with Clyde W. Ford, author of the 2022 book, Of Blood And Sweat: Black Lives And The Making Of White Power And Wealth. His book provides a compelling look at the past and its broad implications for present-day calls for racial equity, justice, and the abolishment of systemic racism.

This conversation will be moderated by SVP Seattle Executive Director, Emiko Atherton. There will be time for a Q&A with the audience and Mr. Ford.

We encourage you to read the book and buy your copy at Parable – a Black-owned bookstore based in Tacoma. Please click here to purchase it online at Parable.
