Campaign Description
This spring, Washington Women’s Foundation (WaWF) is kicking off Joy Is Caring in Action!—a celebration of the joy we create when we show up for one another. Research tells us that joy grows through kindness and contribution, and our members prove it every day.
From International Women’s Day on March 9th to GiveBIG on May 5th, we’ll spotlight stories of care‑driven joy across our grantmaking, advocacy, and community leadership. Together, we’re building a community where care strengthens our collective wellbeing and joy becomes something we share, not just feel.
Every act, big or small, adds to a growing culture of generosity, connection, and shared purpose. Acts of care like…
- Take part in our Spring Acts of Care on socials @wawomensfdn
- Make a gift to fuel care‑driven impact
- Reach out to a fellow member and brighten their day
- Volunteer your time where it matters most to you
- Step into leadership on a grant committee
- Share our work and invite others to join in
This campaign celebrates how joy moves through community and radiates outward. When we practice care—individually and together—we create the conditions where joy, equity, and shared leadership can flourish.
