Priority 101 Series: Mental Health and Housing (OPEN TO ALL)
February 21 @ 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm
We’re thrilled to announce our 2024 Priority 101 series. From our overarching themes of Arts and Community Culture; Law, Justice and Incarceration; and Housing and Hunger; the WaWF membership has selected one priority within each theme: Expanding Access to Art in Schools, Re-Entry Support, and Mental Health and Housing.
Join us on Wednesday February 21st, 2024 via Zoom at 12:30PM for the third part of our deep dive on Mental Health and Housing. Learn more about the intersection of Mental Health and Housing within the investment of culturally relevant mental health and addition recovery services for community members who lack stable housing. Panelists will discuss the systemic intersections of housing instability and mental health, including addiction.
Join panelists Sesany Fennie-Jones of the Council for the Homeless in Clark County, Deborah Padgett of New York University, Patience Malaba of the Housing Development Consortium, and Lauren Simonds of the NAMI Washington.
