How to Research a Nonprofit (MEMBERS ONLY)

February 17, 2022 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

The Collective Grants are the cornerstone of Washington Women’s Foundation’s (WaWF) work as a collective giving organization, and a great way to connect with other members and learn about what’s happening in our community.

This is the second full committee training for the 2022 Collective Grants Committee. Our focus will be to prepare for the Research Phase of the grant process. We’ll cover how to find information about nonprofits online, and how to interpret what you find. This includes practice reviewing financial information by looking at the WaWF’s publicly available financial documents, including our 990.

All WaWF members are invited to join the Collective Grants Committee. If you haven’t yet, you can still sign up to participate in the Research Phase by emailing Aviva Stampfer, our Senior Program Grants Manager, with the work group you would like to join. Click here for the full 2022 Collective Grants Committee calendar.

Attendance at this training is mandatory for all Collective Grants Committee members who are participating in the Research Phase. This event and the Collective Grants Committee are only open to WaWF members. This event will be recorded.
