Priority 101 Series: Early Childhood Education (OPEN TO ALL)
February 7, 2023 @ 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm
We’re thrilled to announce our 2023 Priority 101 series. From our overarching themes of Education, Healthcare, and Climate & Agricultural, the WaWF membership has selected one priority within each theme: Early Childhood Education, Reproductive Justice & Maternal Health, and Food Security and Sovereignty.
Rounding out our 101 series, on February 7th, 2023, at 12:30PM on Zoom, leaders and change-makers will educate the community on Early Childhood Education. We will learn about the creative work being done in both formal and informal education and the many opportunities for early learners from birth to age 8, including the development of early literary skills. This panel will share how a focus on our youngest community members during a period of fundamental development is crucial to the health of the entire educational system.
Meg McNulty of Childhaven, Hana Gregory of Children’s Alliance, Kerra Bower of Little Scholars Development Center, and Deeann Burtch Puffert of Childcare Aware WA will lead us through these crucial topics concerning Early Childhood Education.
