Place-Based Grant
Expanding Opportunity Across All of Washington
About This Grant
WaWF’s place-based grant centers local expertise and leadership by adopting a specific, rotating location outside of King County each year. For 2027 we will be directing our funding into the Spokane area. This is a multi-year, unrestricted grant of $50,000/year for three years. A Place-Based grantee is selected each year by a committee made up of WaWF members and local experts, compensated for their participation.
Deadline for consideration for the Place-Based Grant is the 4th Wednesday in March. Application opens six weeks prior to deadline.
