DESCRIPTION:Join us for the Washington Women’s Foundation (WaWF) Convening 2026\, our annual gathering of speakers\, writers\, community leaders\, and nonprofit partners focused on the issues facing women in Washington. \n\nConvening is a chance to learn\, connect\, and take action together. We bring people together to share ideas\, listen to different perspectives\, and work toward real change. Our work is guided by WaWF values of community\, courage\, curiosity\, and care\, with a strong focus on racial and gender equity. Everyone has a place here\, and everyone’s voice matters. \n2026 Convening Themes\nThis year’s Convening will focus on three urgent and interconnected issues: \n\nWomen and Healthcare\nWomen and Immigration\nWomen\, Democracy\, and Public Life\n\nThrough in-depth panel discussions\, we will hear from experts\, advocates\, and community organizers advancing equitable\, transformative solutions across Washington state. \nWhat to Expect\n\nThree 60-minute panel discussions featuring cross-sector leaders\nOpportunities for reflection and shared learning\nConnection with a diverse community rooted in trust\, accountability\, and care\nActionable insights to support your advocacy\, impact and community care\n\nEvent Details\n\nDate: September 11\, 2026\nTime: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM\nLocation: UW Intellectual House (wǝɫǝbʔaltxʷ)\, Seattle\, WA\nFormat: In-person\nMeals: Morning coffee\, pastries and lunch included\n\nThis event is open to all\, including WaWF members and the broader community. \nRegistration Information\nWe encourage you to select a ticket contribution for food and beverages that aligns with your ability to give.
