YOUR MEMBERSHIP TRANSFORMS COMMUNITIES
Every member of WA Women’s Foundation makes an annual, tax-deductible contribution of $2,500. The majority of this amount is directly applied to our grant-making. We also use a portion of our member contributions to support our educational programs and foundation operations. You can be confident that all of your membership gift powers the transformative work we influence in each other and in communities across the state.
Anytime! We welcome new members throughout the year.
When you join WA Women’s Foundation, you can tailor your involvement based on your schedule and priorities. We know women lead busy lives! At a minimum, we ask that you make a $2,500 annual contribution to invest in our grant-making, our collective learning, and our Foundation. We also ask that you cast your vote for the Collective Grant each May, so our new grantees can be chosen in time for our Grant Award Celebration in June.
WA Women’s Foundation encourages and appreciates matching gifts. Cash gifts received from organizations or corporations to match gifts or volunteer time will be credited to the organization or corporation, with soft credit to the individual donor’s record. Unless explicitly prohibited by the matching organization or corporation, these funds will be allocated to the same purpose as the individual donor’s gift. You do not! We allow members to pay for their annual membership in either one annual contribution or on a monthly basis. If you would like to pay for your contribution in automatic installments, simply click the recurring option when you make your membership contribution online or contact email@example.com. We would be happy to set up alternative arrangements for you!
You will be asked to renew in the same month you make your first membership contribution unless you have chosen to have your contribution withdrawn automatically from your credit card or bank account on a recurring basis. For instance, if you become a member anytime in January, your renewal month going forward will be in January. Don’t worry! We’ll be reaching out by email, mail, and maybe even by phone to remind you to renew when the next year comes. If at any time you would like to shift your renewal month please feel free to contact our office at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can make that change for you.
Of course! After all, the more you give, the more WE give, together! In addition to your $2,500 annual membership contribution, you are welcome to make additional contributions to the Annual Fund, Women & Girls Fund, Rest & Repair Fund, Diversity Equity and Inclusion Fund, and Colleen S. Willoughby Endowment.
