DESCRIPTION:Join us for an essential conversation about the current state of funding and services for women and girls in our community. This collaborative Lunch & Learn brings together leading organizations serving survivors of violence\, native communities\, and immigrant populations to share critical insights with funders\, foundations\, and philanthropists who are committed to making a difference. \nThis is a critical moment for women and girls in our community. With federal funding under threat\, increasing barriers for immigrant survivors\, and persistent gaps in housing and support services\, the need for philanthropic leadership has never been greater. This event will provide funders with a transparent\, comprehensive understanding of: \n\nThe full scope of violence against women and girls in our region\nCurrent funding landscape and HUD/housing funding challenges\nUnique barriers faced by immigrant survivors (including ICE enforcement impacts)\nCrisis facing native women and missing and murdered indigenous women\nTangible ways donors can make an immediate impact\n\nThis event will take place in-person on Tuesday\, May 19th\, at TBD and is open to all.
